In January of 2006, Heather decided to further her education. She began her next college adventure at the University of Tampa, majoring in Communications while concentrating on Advertising and Public Relations. Heather graduated in May of 2009. At graduation, she was awarded the prestigious Academic Award of Excellence. She graduated with the highest GPA in her major (out of 401 students). It is the first time the University of Tampa ever awarded this honor to a part-time, evening student. Heather was also third in the graduating class of 1007 students.

Always seeking education, Heather decided to acquire her Masters of Business Administration degree. She enrolled at the University of Phoenix in March of 2012. This accelerated program proved challenging. Heather excelled in the program and acquired her MBA in November of 2013.
